You go on a guided tour through the wild and pure arctic landscape – all above the timberline. Everyone can go on this guided group trip, even without any earlier experience. The leader will take you the safest ways through the terrain to genuine wilderness spots and the needed equipment, such as a helmet, overall and gloves can be borrowed.
This tour takes 3 days. Your basecamp is Skarvruets highland hotel where you will get to enjoy a three-course wilderness dinner on the first evening. Here we will describe the planned safari route and tell you about safety on the snowmobile and other important information you need to know before the tour starts.
On the next morning, you will pick up your equipment, jump on the snow mobiles and the adventure begins: 3 days off from civilization.
One evening you will visit a genuine mountain timber home in the wild. Its timbers measure up to 60 cm in diameter and will protect you well from the cold outside. Enjoy the warmth of the big fireplace and the wonderful food and have a good sleep on a loft which is several centuries old.
You will also get to sleep in the Copper Creek Lodge, in the untouched wilderness for an other night. The lodge lies in the absolute wilderness, without roads, electricity or running water supply. Here we will cook, play the guitar and sing around an open fire as we enjoy the wild arctic landscapes with panoramic views in 360 degrees.
On the evening of the third day you will return to the hotel, where you get to enjoy the panorama sauna or the finnish sauna to let your body come to rest after your adventurous trip. Enjoy another artisanal dinner and relax for a bit at the fireplace in the lobby before you return to civilization.
When the long dark winter nights begin and the sky is crystal clear, you will the great opportunity to hunt for the Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis. This natural phenomenon that can be observed at our location during some winter nights. However, we cannot guarantee for the weather conditions to allow for observation during your visit.

Your accommodation will be at the wonderful Skarvruet Highland Hotel with its vintage wilderness ambience. Its wellness area offers a panorama sauna with breath-taking views over the untouched mountains and a wood burning finish sauna built from old timber and a grass roof. The artisanal food served at Skarvruet has the character of the northern wilderness.
During the evenings of your wildlife adventure week, you are welcome back to the hotel to warm up in the saunas or the hot tubs and enjoy a three-course dinner at the restaurant.
